MARK BANNERMAN: Tonight the Victorian TAFE system has taken another hit.
The State Government has sacked at least half of the chairpeople presiding over the state's TAFE boards.
Victoria's Higher Education Minister says the sackings are no reflection on the individuals concerned but they are part of the plan to make the institutes viable businesses.
The National Tertiary Education Union sees it quite differently.
It says the sackings are the next step in a plan that will cut services and standards. (Samantha, 2013)
