EIN025_Compensation close for drug affected patients 【Tambaboon IELTS Lab Sydney Australia】 英語 オーストラリア ニュース

I found noteworthy news on ABC News AM.

Caroline Winter reported this story on Friday, September 20, 2013 18:22:00
ASHLEY HALL: Compulsive gambling, spending and hypersexuality are just some of the negative side effects experienced by patients taking medications to manage some chronic illnesses.
Now, after years of fighting for compensation, sufferers of Parkinson's disease and Restless Leg Syndrome seem close to settling one of two class actions they've brought against drug companies.
Many sufferers have been damaged financially and emotionally, and they say while the end of the case will bring some kind of closure, it won't bring back the years lost.
Doctors say there's a need to better highlight the dangers associated with the drugs. (
