- I’ve worked here for thirty years.
- I usually work in Kyoto but I’ve been working in Tokyo for the last 3 weeks.
to talk about how long when we view something as permanent.
But the present perfect continuous
is often used to show that something is temporary.

現在完了 ［has/have+past participle］ と
現在完了進行形 [has/have+been +ing] の比較 2
前回、
現在完了 と 現在完了進行形 を使い分ける際に
１：「状態動詞」か「動作動詞」か
２：話し手が、「結果を重視」してるのか、「過程を重視」しているのか
に注目すべき、と説明しましたが、

今回はもう一つの、「視点」について述べます。

「継続の状態、動作」が、『永続的』か、『今だけ』か、という視点
以下の動作動詞は
現在完了進行形 を使わなくとも
現在完了 で「継続」を表わすことができる。
expect, hope, keep, learn, lie,
live, rain, sit, sleep, snow, stand, stay,
study, teach, wait, want, work
これらの動作動詞は
「行為や状況」が、
『やや永続的な場合』には現在完了で「継続」を表し、
「行為や状況」が、
『やや一時的な場合』には現在完了進行形を用いる。

- I’ve studied English for ten years.
- (今までずっと、そしてこれからも）10年間英語を勉強している
- I’ve been studying for the test all afternoon.
- (試験の終わるまでの期間限定、今のところ）午後ずっと試験勉強している
- I've lived in Tokyo for 10 years.
- (今までずっと、そしてこれからも）東京に10年間住んでいます。
- I've been living in Tokyo for 10 years.
- (期間限定、今のところ）東京に10年間住んでいます。
- 「いつか別の場所に帰る」という話し手の気持ち込み
