EIN092_Sirius, Brightest Star At Midnight On New Year’s Eve 【Tambaboon IELTS Lab Sydney Australia】 英語 オーストラリア ニュース

I found noteworthy news on science world report.
Rosanna Singh reported this story on Dec 29, 2015 04:55 PM EST.
As 2016 approaches Sirius may be referred to as the 'New Year's star.' That's right, during the birth of the New Year 2016, Sirius will be one of the brightest stars in the night sky, where it will reach its highest point as midnight breaks into the New Year. This year it is easy to find Sirius since it is going to be one of the brightest stars seen from the Earth, according to a news release. The name Sirius means sparkling or scorching. If you are not sure where to look as the New Year approaches, look out for the prominent Belt stars of the constellation Orion, since Orion's Belt always directs to Sirius. The star Sirius can be seen at the peak of midnight, where it will be the highest in the sky around midnight, or midway between sunset and sunrise, every New Year's Eve.
