涅槃寂静（ねはんじゃくじょう）とは、
仏教用語で、煩悩の炎の吹き消された悟りの世界（涅槃）は、静やかな安らぎの境地（寂静）であるということを指す。涅槃寂静は三法印・四法印の一つとして、仏教が他の教えと根本的に違うことを示す。なお、漢字文化圏では数の単位（命数）としても用いられ、名前のついている数では最小の単位（10の-24乗）となっている。

涅槃寂静 の 概説

諸行無常・諸法無我の事実を自覚することが、この涅槃寂静のすがたである。無常と無我とを自覚して、それによる生活を行うことこそ、煩悩をまったく寂滅する事のできた安住の境地であるとする。

無常の真実に目覚めないもの、無我の事実をしらないで自己をつかまえているものの刹那を追い求めている生活も、無常や無我を身にしみて知りながら、それを知る事によってかえってよりどころを失って、よりどころとしての常住や自我を追い求めて苦悩している生活も、いずれも煩悩による苦の生活である。

それを克服して、いっさいの差別（しゃべつ）と対立の底に、いっさいが本来「ひとつのもの」である事実を自覚することのできる境地、それこそ悟りであるというのが、涅槃寂静印の示すものである。

人間の値うちは、テストの点数だけで、きまるものじゃないのよ 😊
